## Description

Futuris Infrastructure is an innovative Kenyan company dedicated to transforming smallholder farming into a predictable and bankable business through integrated water, energy, and data systems. Based in Nairobi, the company prioritizes the design and installation of essential infrastructure, beginning with their flagship product, MajiDepot. This comprehensive water system features rooftop rainwater harvesting, sealed underground storage, solar-powered pumps, gravity-fed drip irrigation, and IoT monitoring, creating the first bankable infrastructure asset for smallholder farmers.

Futuris also emphasizes the integration of solar energy in its operations, ensuring every MajiDepot installation is energy-independent. The company plans to expand its offerings with 'Chilly,' a solar-powered cold storage solution aimed at reducing post-harvest losses in the horticulture sector, set to launch in late 2027. Additionally, the Futuris Data Platform aggregates vital agricultural data, enhancing operational efficiency and opening avenues for financial opportunities with aggregators, insurers, and banks. Through a commitment to sustainable infrastructure, Futuris Infrastructure is poised to redefine rural agriculture in Kenya.
