## Description

The Federación de Vela de la Región de Murcia is the regional sailing federation serving sailors and nautical clubs across Murcia, Spain. Working alongside the region’s yacht clubs, it manages sailing licences and coordinates regattas in several disciplines, including dinghy sailing, cruising, adapted sailing and Olympic sailing. Its competition calendar features events for classes such as Optimist, Snipe, ILCA and ORC, as well as local, national and international competitions hosted in the region. The federation also oversees the approval and ongoing monitoring of sailing schools, supporting the organisation and quality of sailing instruction. Through its website, sailors and clubs can find information about events, participating clubs, sailing classes, documents and licence applications. The site also publishes news about regional sailors and competitions, including results and achievements, and provides information on technical sailing education. Based in Cartagena, the Federación de Vela de la Región de Murcia connects the local sailing community and supports participation, training and competition throughout the region.
