## Description

The Foundation for Vision Therapy Awareness (FVTA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the future of people affected by vision disorders that may be treated with vision therapy. Its mission is to increase community understanding, advocate for better awareness and support, and help make vision therapy accessible to everyone.

FVTA explains that vision therapy can address problems with how the eyes work together, which may cause blurred or double vision, headaches, eye fatigue, and difficulty concentrating on visually demanding tasks. The organization also highlights potential relevance for people whose vision has been affected by head trauma or neurological conditions, as well as those with wandering, crossed, or lazy eyes.

The foundation’s programs include scholarships that help people in need access vision therapy services, vision screenings for children, and advocacy for improved school vision screening. FVTA also shares educational resources and articles on topics such as vision therapy, ADHD and vision, and conditions treated through therapy.
