## Description

FFT, the Physics and Technology Student Committee, is the student body for physics students at the Department of Physics and Technology at the University of Bergen. Its central role is to connect students with department leadership, helping students communicate requests, ideas, questions and concerns. FFT also works to improve the academic and social experience of students and represents their interests in department- and faculty-level councils and committees.

The committee is made up of students serving in roles including chair, deputy chair, treasurer, communications, web, industry, international and events coordinators, alongside representatives from relevant department bodies and student associations. Through these roles, FFT helps ensure that student perspectives are heard in decisions affecting them.

FFT also organizes social activities at ħ (h-bar), the student bar, including parties and film nights, as well as waffle events, exam-time gatherings and annual cabin trips. By combining student representation with community-building activities, FFT supports physics students both in their studies and in campus life.
