## Description

The Guild of Physics is a student association at Aalto University serving students in Engineering Physics and Mathematics and Quantum Technology. Founded in 1947, it has about 700 members and welcomes people beyond its core student communities. The Guild brings members together through a variety of activities in Otaniemi and elsewhere, including social events, gatherings, and opportunities to connect with fellow students. It also represents and advocates for the interests of its student members and supports their wellbeing.

The association maintains connections with other Engineering Physics and Mathematics student societies in Finland and internationally, helping foster a wider community around these fields. Its work is powered by members’ voluntary contributions and shaped by the traditions of Finnish teekkari student culture. The Guild’s room is at Otakaari 1, next to the Learning HUB, and serves as a place for members to meet. Through community activities, student representation, and peer connections, the Guild supports its members’ university experience and creates opportunities to participate in student life.
