The Gunma Marathon is a premier athletic event held annually in Gunma Prefecture, renowned for its vibrant community spirit and commitment to promoting health and fitness. Scheduled for November 3, 2024, at the Shodashi Soy Sauce Stadium, the marathon offers participants a choice of various competitive events, including a full marathon (42.195 km), a 10 km race, and a scenic Riverside Jogging course.

Participants can expect a well-organized experience, with the full marathon allowing for 5,500 competitors and the 10 km accommodating 4,000 runners. Additionally, a Junior Speed Run is available for younger athletes, promoting inclusivity and encouraging youth participation in sports.

With strict adherence to the Japan Athletics Federation's regulations, the event features staggered start waves to enhance safety and performance tracking using timing chips.
