G-PACT is a brand dedicated to increasing awareness of gastro paresis (GP), chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction (CIP), and colonic inertia (CI) among medical professionals, patients, and the general population. Their mission is to find a cure or better treatment options for digestive tract paralysis (DTP). G-PACT provides educational resources, multiple support programs, patient advocacy programs, and other aids to help patients cope and provide hope to those affected by the condition.


The brand was founded in 2001 by a group of patients who were members of an online support group. Carissa Haston, the founder of G-PACT, started the brand as a way to connect with others suffering from digestive health issues. What began as a personal website grew into a large online support group.


Recognizing the need for a dedicated organization, G-PACT was created to address the lack of diagnosis and accurate information surrounding the conditions. The brand operates on a virtual basis with volunteers located across the country. G-PACT is committed to providing all their services for free, with 100% of donations going towards awareness campaigns, research, and advocacy work.


Volunteers, many of whom are patients themselves, understand the daily struggles of those dealing with digestive disorders. The brand's vibrant colors, spring green and yellow, represent gastroparesis.
