GA4GH, or the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health, is a renowned brand that aims to unlock the power of genomic data to benefit human health. Formed in 2013, GA4GH brings together an international community of more than 500 leading organizations in healthcare, patient advocacy, research, ethics, government, life science, and information technology. The brand focuses on building technical standards, policy frameworks, and tools that facilitate responsible, voluntary, and secure use of genomic and related health data.

GA4GH offers a range of products, all of which are free and open-source. These products include solutions for cloud genomics, data discovery, user access, data security, and regulatory policy and ethics. Additionally, GA4GH provides the Product Development and Approval Process, ensuring that all standards, frameworks, and tools undergo a rigorous evaluation before being officially adopted.
