## Description

GAAFF Dagbesteding is a day-activity and support provider based on Schokland in the Netherlands, offering a welcoming setting for young adults and adults with disabilities or psychological challenges. Founded by Pieter and Corina, who have backgrounds in youth care and education, GAAFF focuses on people’s abilities, personal interests and opportunities to grow. Its approach combines structure, guidance, meaningful activities and social connection, with individual goals supporting participants’ development.

Activities take place across several areas: a lunchroom, a woodworking workshop, a creative studio and the site’s gardens. Participants can prepare food, serve guests, work with wood using tools including a laser cutter, paint, draw, craft, tend the vegetable garden and help care for the green surroundings. The lunchroom serves coffee, sandwiches and lunch dishes made with fresh, local ingredients, and its space is available for group and private events. GAAFF also offers room rental. Participation requires an applicable indication under the Dutch Youth Act, Wmo or Wlz.
