# GAAHPN - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `gaahpn.org` ## Description The Georgia African American Historic Preservation Network (GAAHPN) is a volunteer-led organization dedicated to preserving and promoting historic places connected to African American heritage in Georgia. Its work supports the protection and celebration of Black history across the state, bringing attention to sites that reflect the experiences and contributions of African American communities. Through its website, GAAHPN shares information about its mission and history, members, events, and preservation resources. Visitors can explore Reflections and its archive, learn about endangered historic sites, and find information on National Register sites and museums. The site also provides member information and updates on the network’s initiatives. One featured effort is the Chitlin’ Circuit Heritage Trail project, which GAAHPN supports. The project involves researching, documenting, planning, and proposing a heritage trail, with support from a grant awarded to the Georgia Department of Community Affairs’ Historic Preservation Division. GAAHPN also highlights statewide preservation activity, including Georgia Historic Preservation Month and Archaeology Month. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/GAAHPNetwork) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/iddC7PKmug/w/878/h/906/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792922486145) - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/iddC7PKmug/w/963/h/963/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792922486399) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Stiletto | #983232 | accent | | Black Russian | #080013 | dark | | Ivory | #fefffa | light | ## Fonts - baskerville-display-pt — asset _(custom)_ - baskerville-display-pt — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
