## Description

Novofer Foundation is a Hungarian public-benefit organization dedicated to honoring the legacy of Nobel Prize-winning engineer and physicist Dennis Gábor and recognizing achievement in science, engineering and innovation. Its best-known initiative is the Gábor Dénes Award, which acknowledges outstanding creators, researchers, developers, inventors, engineers and innovators in Hungary and beyond. The foundation also supports young people through scholarships and awards for secondary-school students, university research and diploma projects, as well as special distinctions and competitions.

Alongside its awards, Novofer Foundation shares information about Gábor’s life and intellectual heritage through publications, books, commemorative programs, memorials and exhibitions. Its hologram exhibitions, including displays featuring works from the Greguss collection, introduce visitors to the history and enduring appeal of holography. The organization publishes award news and calls for nominations, and provides information about recipients, events and its public-benefit activities. It works with academic, cultural and professional partners to deliver programs and relies on support from companies and individuals. Through recognition, education and public engagement, Novofer Foundation connects Gábor’s scientific legacy with new generations.
