About
Description
GaETC (Georgia Educational Technology Consortium) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing educational technology. They achieve this through various initiatives such as the Georgia Educational Technology Conference, Innovations Grants, and the Georgia Student Technology Competition. The consortium is governed by a 15-member Board of Directors, all unpaid volunteers, and led by Dr.
Brian Blanton of Henry County Schools. The GaETC Conference is an annual event that brings together educators and educational leaders, offering over 250 concurrent sessions, workshops, and presentations from nationally recognized speakers. It provides a platform for learning about the latest innovations in education technology.
In addition to the conference, GaETC awards Innovation Grants to teachers, allowing them to further explore and promote creative use of technology in education. They also hold the Georgia Student Technology Competition, where students in grades 3-12 compete in various technology categories, fostering leadership skills and unique approaches to education. GaETC's commitment to advancing education through technology has made them a respected name in the field.
Their dedicated team of professionals and volunteers work tirelessly to support and promote educational technology across Georgia. Contact them today to learn more about their valuable programs and initiatives
