Gaia-X is a brand that aims to create a digital governance framework for cloud and edge technologies, based on European values. Their goal is to provide transparency, controllability, portability, and interoperability across data and services. Unlike a market operator, Gaia-X does not directly operate any of the services required by the governance. With 1800 contributors and 350 members, Gaia-X is making strides in creating a federated secure data infrastructure.
