## Description

Galápagos Conservancy is a brand dedicated to the conservation and preservation of the unique Galápagos Islands. They offer grants to organizations and individuals to support targeted research, conservation efforts, and community support actions. These initiatives directly address the priorities identified by Galápagos Conservancy, Conservando Galápagos Science and Conservation team, and the Galapagos National Park Directorate. The Conservation Action Grants program focuses on projects proposed by organizations based in Galápagos and permanent residents. These projects aim to provide innovative solutions to conservation priorities in the archipelago. Emphasis is given to initiatives that contribute to the understanding, conservation, and restoration of the island and marine ecosystems, as well as promote actions for the sustainability of Galápagos. Projects focusing on adaptation and mitigation of the impacts of the El Niño phenomenon are also prioritized. Galápagos Conservancy offers grants of an average of USD $5,000 (up to a maximum of $10,000 in exceptional cases). The current call for submissions is closed for the 2023 season. In addition to the Conservation Action Grants, Galápagos Conservancy also supports small businesses owned by women through the WISE (Women in Sustainability Entrepreneurship) awards, focusing on sustainability in Galápagos. With your support, Galápagos Conservancy continues to make a significant impact in preserving this extraordinary ecosystem. Join the fight and become a member today by donating to their cause. Together, we can ensure the long-term sustainability and conservation of the Galápagos Islands.
