## Description

Gala Performance Racing is a motorsport brand that grew from a sponsorship partnership between Gala Tent and United Autosports. Founded by Gala business directors Mark Thompson and Andrew Scott, the team brings together their business experience and shared enthusiasm for racing. Nathan Lord joined the team in 2016 and supports its day-to-day operations and social media, as well as competing as a driver. The team has raced in the C1 Racing Club’s C1 Challenge, with Lord making his debut at Donington Park in 2022.

Gala Performance Racing competes in a first-generation Citroën C1 with a 1-litre engine. The car remains standard for power and handling, with limited club-approved suspension adjustments and safety additions, including an approved roll cage and harnesses. This equal-car approach places emphasis on driver skill and pit strategy. The brand’s website provides information about the team, drivers, car, race calendar and gallery, alongside a shop and sponsorship contact options. Gala Performance Racing reflects a continuing commitment to grassroots motorsport and competitive racing.
