## Description

Founded by Jo van de Loo in May 2011, JO VAN DE LOO is a contemporary art gallery located on Theresienstrasse in central Munich. The gallery presents a program focused on emerging artists whose work explores a range of practices, particularly painting, photography and installation. Its roster includes artists such as Abel Auer, Marjan Baniasadi, Jan Paul Evers, Georg Haberler, Anouk Kruithof, Regine Petersen, Boris Saccone and Sebastian Tröger.

Visitors can view current and past exhibitions at the gallery, with shows announced throughout the year. The program also connects with wider cultural events: gallery news has highlighted Boris Saccone’s presentation at Munich’s Pinakothek der Moderne. JO VAN DE LOO welcomes visitors during scheduled opening hours on Wednesdays, Fridays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and appointments can also be booked. The gallery provides exhibition updates through its newsletter and offers direct contact by email and telephone. With its changing exhibitions and artist-focused program, JO VAN DE LOO serves as a venue for discovering contemporary artistic work in Munich.
