## Description

Galerie 116 is an art gallery based in Leonberg, Germany, known for presenting and selling works by established and emerging artists. Its exhibitions have featured a varied range of styles and media, including paintings, drawings, lithographs and pastels. Artists shown have included Peter Feichter, Carlos Manrique, Uli Lüth, Reiner Stolz, Jürgen Herz and Wolfgang Scheerle, as well as works from the Rebmann collection, such as lithographs by Salvador Dalí.

The gallery offered visitors opportunities to view selected artworks, arrange appointments and purchase pieces, with information about dimensions and prices available for some works. Its programme also included special exhibitions, openings and participation in Leonberg’s Lange Kunstnacht. Galerie 116 sought to bring art to wider audiences beyond its gallery rooms, including through an exhibition of Peter Feichter’s paintings at a Stuttgart personnel-services company under the theme “Art meets Work.” The gallery also hosted events and commemorations connected with its artists. According to its website, Galerie 116 closed its gallery rooms on September 27, 2024, following special exhibitions held that month.
