## Description

L'illustre Galerie LE MONDE, established in January 2015 by Yoshinobu Tajima, serves as a vibrant hub for illustrators and visual artists in Tokyo. With a rich background in commercial design spanning over 15 years, Tajima channels his expertise into curating exhibitions that connect illustrators with the broader art community. The gallery not only showcases a variety of talented artists but has also expanded its offerings with the opening of STUDIO LEMONDE in September 2023, a risograph printing studio dedicated to creating print artworks for sale at exhibitions.

LE MONDE, meaning "world," aims to provide a nurturing environment for illustrators, akin to the growth journey depicted in tarot cards from "The Fool" to "The World." This philosophy reflects a commitment to supporting artists in fostering creativity and originality. Visitors can explore diverse exhibitions, engage in collaborative events, and even participate in workshops, making L'illustre Galerie LE MONDE a utopia for illustration lovers and an essential destination for art enthusiasts in Tokyo.
