## Description

Founded in Istanbul in 1987 by Haldun Dostoğlu, Galeri Nev İstanbul is an established art gallery that has contributed to the development of contemporary art in Turkey for more than 35 years. In its early years, the gallery focused mainly on exhibitions of modern Turkish artists from the 20th century, helping bring their work to wider attention. Its programme and resources reflect a continuing engagement with artists and contemporary art. Visitors can explore information about the artists represented or featured by the gallery, view current and past exhibitions, and read news about its activities. Galeri Nev İstanbul also offers publications, including micro-publications, and prints, extending its work beyond exhibition-making. The gallery’s website provides information in English and Turkish, along with details about its history and contact options. Together, these offerings make Galeri Nev İstanbul a resource for discovering artists, exhibitions, and printed material connected with the gallery’s artistic programme and its longstanding place in Turkey’s contemporary art scene.
