## Description

Galleria Elleni is a modern and contemporary art gallery based in Bergamo, Italy, with two exhibition spaces. Founded by Uber Calori in 1972, it has been directed by his sons Cristiano and Massimiliano since 1998. The gallery focuses on Italian and international art of the twentieth century, particularly the period from the postwar years to the present, with special interest in photography and new media. Its exhibition history includes solo shows by influential artists such as Enrico Castellani, Piero Dorazio, Georges Mathieu, Daniel Spoerri, Nam June Paik and Nobuyoshi Araki. Galleria Elleni organizes exhibitions in its own venues and public spaces, and publishes artist monographs and exhibition editions in collaboration with art critics and historians. It also supports collectors through research and acquisition advice, with attention to financial considerations and investment. Additional services include artwork archiving, authenticity and condition checks, valuations, appraisals, and assistance with private collections for sales, inheritance divisions and insurance purposes. The gallery also collaborates with cultural institutions and foundations on art publications.
