## Description

Ferrara Art Gallery is a modern and contemporary art gallery located in the centre of Matera, Italy. Founded by Vincenzo Luigi Ferrara in 1998 in Sant’Arcangelo, the gallery presents works by regional and nationally recognized artists. Its regional artists include L. Guerricchio, S. Ferrara, S. Sebaste and S. Comminiello, while its national and international roster includes names such as Nespolo, Rotella, Carla Levi, Accardi, Ortega, Paladino, Chia, Cucchi and Baj.

The Matera gallery occupies 200 square metres across two exhibition levels and can display up to 80 works. It welcomes proposals for exhibitions from artists who are not already represented by the gallery. Its collection also includes a wide selection of fine-art prints, including lithographs, screen prints and engravings by Italian and international artists. In addition to exhibiting and offering artworks, Ferrara Art Gallery provides custom framing services. Vincenzo Ferrara brings decades of experience to the business, having begun his career at age fifteen in an art-print workshop in Turin.
