## Description

Galleri Varming is a gallery dedicated to the work of Danish sculptor Hanne Varming (1939–2022), whose figures and sculptures capture the character and quiet beauty of people from everyday life. Varming studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 1958 to 1965. Over her career, she created works portraying well-known figures, including Victor Borge, members of the Danish royal family and politicians, as well as ordinary people she encountered and found compelling.

The gallery presents examples of her sculptures, including Konen med hundene in Valby, Emma på bænk in Holbæk, Nicole med stol in Skjern and a sculpture of Victor Borge in Copenhagen. Selected sculptures are available to purchase through the gallery. Galleri Varming also shares information about Varming’s life and work through videos, a podcast and links to interviews, articles and other coverage. Its website highlights sculptures installed in locations around Denmark and provides contact details for enquiries.
