## Description

Gallery Katharina May presents the work of German artist Katharina May, whose paintings explore wildlife, modernity and human feelings. For May, art is both a way of life and a means of communicating thoughts and visions between artist and viewer. Her gallery showcases original paintings and offers selected works as limited art prints; interested buyers can enquire about available originals, prints and other artworks.

Alongside her studio practice, May shares her work through exhibitions and art events, including group exhibitions and an announced art exhibition and auction. She also offers acrylic painting workshops, children’s workshops and bilingual German-English art classes, creating opportunities for people to engage with art and develop their own creative skills. The website features a gallery, archive and updates from her artistic practice, with further glimpses shared on Instagram. Based in Ilmenau, Germany, Katharina May welcomes enquiries from people interested in collecting her work, attending workshops or learning more about her projects. Her approach brings together expressive subject matter and a personal view of contemporary life.
