## Description

Galvanize Therapeutics is a medical device company based in Redwood City, California, focused on pulsed electric field (PEF) technology for surgical soft-tissue ablation. Its devices are designed to work with the body’s biology and support precise energy application, with the aim of addressing disease and restoring function. The company’s portfolio includes the Aliya PEF System, the next-generation Aliya EX System and generator, the RheOx System, and the INUMI Flex needle. Galvanize highlights potential benefits of its PEF technology such as a predictable cellular depletion zone, a favorable safety profile near sensitive structures, and compatibility with established clinical workflows and tools. The Aliya PEF System is 510(k) cleared in the United States for surgical ablation of soft tissue; the company states that it is not intended to treat, cure, prevent, or mitigate any specific disease or condition. Galvanize supports clinical evidence development and provides information for patients, healthcare professionals, hospitals, and researchers, including a physician-finder service for people seeking a provider who uses the Aliya system.
