## Description

Games and Timelines is a bilingual, enthusiast-created reference website exploring imaginative concepts and timelines across entertainment franchises. Developed from an idea dating back to the early 1990s, the site brings together material that the creator had long wanted to share and builds on an earlier homepage from 2003–2004. Its Games section documents games invented for films, television series, and books, rather than focusing on ordinary real-world games. The Time Theories section presents concepts and theories about time as depicted in Hollywood films and other screen stories. A Chronologies section gathers timelines for various fictional franchise universes, helping visitors explore how events fit together. Together, these sections aim to develop into a broad, browsable encyclopedia for fans interested in fictional games, time travel, and continuity. The site is explicitly a work in progress, and its creator invites visitors to explore the categories, consult the available guidelines, and contribute content. With both German and English options, Games and Timelines is designed to welcome readers from different language backgrounds.
