## Description

Gamescape is a renowned brand that has its roots in the first-ever game store established in San Francisco. Founded by gaming enthusiast Robert Hamilton, also known as Bob, Gamescape offers a wide range of products and services to cater to the gaming community. Bob's passion for games, particularly chess, led him to create a store dedicated to providing chess and backgammon supplies, organizing tournaments, and offering books on chess tactics. Despite facing challenges, Bob's determination led him to launch Gamescape in 1985 in San Francisco's Western Addition neighborhood. With a commitment to incorporating the best aspects of tabletop gaming, Gamescape offers a diverse selection of games for purchase and provides a welcoming space for gaming enthusiasts to play and participate in community events. Today, Gamescape continues to thrive, preserving its rich traditions and serving as a hub for the gaming and neighborhood communities. Visit Gamescape at 333 Divisadero St, San Francisco, CA 94117, or contact them at 415-621-4263 or info@gamescapesf.com.
