Game Science is a Chinese video game developer founded in June 2014, with most of its development team based in Hangzhou. Its name combines “Game” and “Science,” reflecting the studio’s ambition to unite the playfulness and emotional appeal of games with scientific rigor and discipline. The founding team members average more than 15 years of industry experience and have worked together for over 10 years on average.

The studio creates games inspired by Chinese mythology and history. Its latest release, Black Myth: Wukong, launched on August 20, 2024. This mythology-inspired action RPG follows the Destined One through a world of challenges and marvels as they uncover truths behind a legendary past. It is available on PS5, Steam, Epic Games Store, WeGame, and Xbox Series X|S. Game Science is also developing Black Myth: Zhong Kui, with a gameplay trailer offering an early look at combat and story scenes.
