## Description

GAMIN, or Groupe Aquatique Mille-Îles Nord, is a competitive swimming club serving athletes from Blainville, Lorraine, Mirabel, Rosemère and Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec. Founded in 1981 as the Club de Natation Optimiste Sainte-Thérèse, it adopted its current name in 1991 to reflect its wider regional community. The club provides individualized programs designed to help swimmers develop their skills and reach their potential, with guidance from a certified head coach. Training emphasizes swimming technique, personal challenge and continuous improvement in a welcoming, healthy and stimulating environment. Respect, teamwork and commitment are central to club life, shared by coaches, swimmers and parent volunteers. GAMIN also supports athletes’ social development and sense of belonging through participation in the club community. In January 2026, it added a masters swimming program for adults aged 18 and over. Recognized as the Fédération de natation du Québec’s Club of the Year for 2024–2025, GAMIN offers competitive swimming and structured training for its regional membership.
