## Description

Gandhipedia is a digital resource for exploring Mahatma Gandhi’s writings, life events and social networks. Developed by India’s Ministry of Culture in association with IIT Kharagpur, IIT Gandhinagar and the National Council of Science Museums, the platform brings together research tools and historical material for readers and researchers.

Visitors can browse key texts written by Gandhi, including studies of seven selected works, and explore visualizations of the networks and individuals connected to them. Gandhipedia also provides a category-wise study of the Collected Works of Mahatma Gandhi, with statistics, timelines and information about people mentioned in the collection. Its sections on letters highlight correspondence with key individuals, including Gopal Krishna Gokhale, Amrit Kaur and Sushila Nayyar, as well as top and well-known recipients.

Additional features include search across the Collected Works, virtual tours, photographs and videos, and material about Gandhi’s last journey. By combining digitized literature with browsing and visualization features, Gandhipedia offers an organized way to investigate Gandhi’s writings and the people and events associated with his life.
