## Description

Garbage to Garden is a highly beloved brand founded in 2012 and based in Portland, Maine. They offer a convenient curbside compost service to urban dwellers, schools, and commercial businesses. The brand’s mission is to recycle food scraps, including meat, dairy, and bones, thereby renewing local soil. It all started when Tyler Frank, living in a second-story apartment without space for a compost pile, wondered why compost couldn't be put out on the curb like trash and recycling. This simple idea quickly took root and became Garbage to Garden. From there, a partnership with Benson Farm was formed, driven by a shared commitment to sustainability and closing the food recycling loop. Today, Garbage to Garden is the leading market-based curbside composting company in the Northeast. They serve over 10,000 households, schools, restaurants, businesses, and events throughout Maine and Massachusetts. Their service areas include Portland, South Portland, Falmouth, Cumberland, Yarmouth, Westbrook, Cape Elizabeth, Brunswick, Bath, Arlington, Belmont, Somerville, and Medford. Garbage to Garden's success is built on a sustainable ethos and a dedication to supporting the local economy. Join them in their mission to create a greener future by participating in their curbside composting program.
