# Garda Sailing - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `gardasailing.org` ## Description South Coast Garda Sailing Club (SCGSC) is a sailing club based in Crosshaven, established in 1993 to promote sailing and its benefits among members of An Garda Síochána, Ireland’s police force. Since its foundation, the club has grown steadily and introduced many members to the sport. For some, this introduction has led to Yachtmaster qualifications; many continue as club members and serve as skippers, sharing their experience and knowledge with newer generations of sailors. The club supports participation in sailing while helping members develop skills and sustain a strong community of experience and learning. Its website provides practical information and resources, including a safety statement, constitution, newsletters, ship’s log book, booking information, photo gallery and useful links. Visitors can also find club news, event information and details about its sports partnership. SCGSC offers a community setting for Garda members interested in sailing, from those beginning their involvement to experienced members who contribute as skippers and pass their knowledge on to others. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Water Sports _(under Sports)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/163520203670356) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idVb_8_bhl/w/80/h/162/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792911473981) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idVb_8_bhl/w/479/h/479/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792911474242) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Glacier | #84adc6 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Link Water | #d6e7f1 | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
