## Description

Fondation HORTUS is an organisation focused on nature, gardens and plants, bringing people together through educational, cultural and community activities. Its initiatives include “1 Geste pour la Nature,” Remark’Arbres, a specialist library, exhibitions, publications and events. The foundation also organises the GARDEN FESTIVAL, a weekend gathering for plant and garden enthusiasts in the grounds of Château de Coppet.

The festival features around a hundred exhibitors, including specialist nurseries, growers, landscapers, pool and pergola installers, artists and local craftspeople whose work relates to gardens and plants. Visitors can browse and buy plants and garden-related goods, with a complimentary wheelbarrow service to help carry purchases. Food trucks and bars offer sweet and savoury food, non-alcoholic drinks, wine and cocktails throughout the day. The event welcomes visitors to explore the exhibitors and enjoy the château’s park setting. Fondation HORTUS invites public support through donations to help it pursue its aims. The festival takes place at Château de Coppet, accessible by car, train or boat, with free parking nearby.
