## Description

Gargillon is a medieval fantasy world created by author, role-playing game designer, and live-action role-playing event organizer Cyan Malherbe. Set on a vast island inhabited by diverse peoples, the setting explores familiar fantasy elements such as elves, dwarves, and magic through deeper political, cultural, and social themes. Gargillon brings together several creative projects, including a planned three-volume fantasy novel cycle, tabletop role-playing, and live-action events. The novels follow three orphaned sisters whose separate journeys gradually reveal the fate of their family. The first volume, Au pied du mur, begins in the sprawling city of Atthalos and follows the sisters through very different worlds and dangers. Gargillon’s live-action role-playing events are organized with the association Le chapitre des Flammes Blanches and contribute to the evolving story of the setting. Events include Des Murmures au Dragon de pierre, a written-character game focused on survival, political intrigue, and tension at a jungle-border fort. The website also offers world-building resources, interactive maps, event histories, rules, and preparation materials for participants.
