## Description

Gary Lyon Otto is an independent author and self-trained physicist whose work explores cosmology, black holes, and the nature of the universe. A Cornell graduate and former financial adviser, Otto describes his path as a personal effort to make sense of complex cosmological ideas through simpler explanations and mathematical investigation. His central project, the “grand tautology,” grew from spreadsheet calculations that he says rewound cosmic history toward the Big Bang and matched observations, yielding a theory he presents as either correct or wholly wrong. Otto develops these ideas in books including Singularity, Black Holes: The New Paradigm, Occam’s Razor, and The Universal Black Hole. The titles question established models and propose a unified interpretation of cosmic existence, with Occam’s Razor serving as a guiding principle for simplifying the universe. His website offers digital editions and sample readings, alongside blog posts and podcasts. Readers can explore his perspective on cosmology and engage with his published work through the site.
