## Description

Gastro-Liga e.V. is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the treatment and prevention of gastrointestinal diseases and disorders, including chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Established by a collaborative network of healthcare professionals and interested individuals, the organization aims to enhance the quality of life for the millions affected in Germany, where nearly one in five experiences digestive issues.

Among its initiatives, the Gastro-Liga offers valuable resources like a health phone service where patients can consult gastroenterology experts about concerns such as stomach pain and bloating. The organization also hosts events and campaigns, including the upcoming Campaign Day for IBD in May 2024, focusing on personalized treatment options across all age groups. Furthermore, the Gastro-Liga actively promotes awareness during events like the Liver Day and the Magen-Darm-Tag, emphasizing the significance of early detection and lifestyle adjustments for better health outcomes. Membership offers exclusive benefits, making it accessible for anyone seeking to stay informed and supported in managing their digestive health.
