## Description

**Gateway Dragon Boat Festival**

The Gateway Dragon Boat Festival is a vibrant community event organized by the Signature Healthcare Foundation, dedicated to promoting both sport and charity. Taking place annually at Creve Coeur Lake, this festival celebrates the exhilarating tradition of dragon boat racing while raising funds for Operation Family Help, which assists families in financial need for healthcare not covered by insurance. The festival features teams of paddlers competing in dragon boats, guided by a drummer who sets the pace and a steersperson who navigates. In addition to the races, attendees can enjoy diverse food trucks, entertainment, and team-building opportunities in a festive atmosphere. The event not only fosters community spirit and competitive camaraderie but also brings awareness to important health-related causes, making a lasting impact on families in the St. Louis area. Join the excitement on August 17, 2024, and be a part of this inspiring celebration of skill, teamwork, and philanthropy!
