## Description

GATE Zöld Klub Egyesület is a student-led environmental civil association made up of students from the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Its name reflects its mission: bringing students together to support environmental protection through community activities, learning and public awareness. The association organizes events and programs for its members and wider student community, and its website shares practical information on sustainable living and environmental topics.

Past activities have included workshops on making reusable food wraps and baking sourdough, a film-club screening and discussions about food choices, seasonal produce, local shopping and environmentally friendly wastewater treatment. The group also holds annual general meetings to review its work, plan future programs and projects, and welcome new members. Its articles and event reports offer accessible ideas for making more informed everyday choices, while its activities create opportunities for students and volunteers to learn and participate together. GATE Zöld Klub’s work combines education, hands-on experiences and community engagement, encouraging greater interest in environmental issues among university students and beyond.
