## Description

Gathering of Rivers for Community Care is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of Aboriginal peoples in Canada, with a particular focus on economically and socially disadvantaged children, youth, and families in Matawa First Nations communities. It serves Aroland, Constance Lake, Eabametoong, Ginoogaming, Long Lake #58, Marten Falls, Neskantaga, Nibinamik, and Webequie.

The organization invites donations to expand opportunities for Aboriginal youth, including financial assistance that can help students remain in school, graduate, and pursue further education. Contributions support bursaries for Matawa youth entering certificate programs, college, or university, as well as the creation, maintenance, and operation of Learning Centres in member communities. Gathering of Rivers for Community Care also aims to strengthen healthy communities by providing health and social support services and basic amenities to youth and families in need. Its work fosters the economic, social, and cultural development of families across Matawa communities. Through community-based support and education-focused initiatives, the organization seeks to help young people realize their potential.
