## Description

The Gay Games is the world’s largest LGBTQ+ sports and culture event, bringing together thousands of participants and spectators from around the world every four years. Organized by the Federation of Gay Games (FGG), the event spans ten days of sport, culture, and entertainment. Participation is open to everyone, regardless of gender, sexuality, or other personal characteristics, reflecting the Games’ emphasis on participation, inclusion, and personal best.

Each edition takes place in a different location. Gay Games XII was held in València, Spain, and Perth, Western Australia, has been confirmed as host of Gay Games XIII in 2030. The organization also shares information about past events, historical results, host selection, and the work of the FGG.

Beyond the Games, the Federation supports its mission through scholarships, member organizations, volunteer opportunities, and recognition such as the Tom Waddell Award. Its website offers event news, annual reports, information on gender inclusion, and ways to become a member, donate, or sign up for updates.
