## Description

GreatFireVPN is a virtual private network service developed by GreatFire.org, an anti-censorship organization founded in 2011. It is designed to help people access the open internet in countries where websites and online services are blocked, including China, Russia, Iran, Turkmenistan, Myanmar, and India; the service is also used in Cuba. Drawing on more than a decade of experience, GreatFireVPN uses multiple circumvention methods and automatically selects a suitable connection and server to support reliable access under restrictive network conditions.

The service offers apps for Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows, with an OpenWRT version described as forthcoming. Features include split tunneling on Android, local access to selected services in certain countries, and support for up to 10 devices per account. GreatFireVPN states that it does not log online activity or collect personal data, and does not require registration to start a trial. New users can try the service free for 30 days, with paid plans available for 30, 90, 180, or 365 days.
