## Description

Gothenburg Fringe, established in 2016, has swiftly evolved into a vibrant community celebrating the dynamic world of performing arts. This annual festival takes over the city of Gothenburg, transforming unique venues into stages for uncensored, cutting-edge performances that educate, entertain, and inspire. Over the years, Gothenburg Fringe has attracted artists and audiences from all over the globe, fostering a collaborative spirit and a passion for innovative ideas.

In 2024, the festival is set to showcase an impressive lineup of 70 productions and 200 events across 10 diverse venues. Emphasizing support for artists, Gothenburg Fringe covers venue costs and grants 100% of ticket revenue directly to performers. To enhance community engagement and expand access to the arts, the brand launched a year-round program in March 2022, hosting seasonal events in addition to the main festival. Rooted in the rich tradition of Fringe festivals worldwide, Gothenburg Fringe continues to be a beacon for creativity, development, and artistic exploration.
