# Green Card Backlog Coalition

- **Website:** <https://gcbcoalition.org>
- **Primary alias:** `gcbcoalition.org`

## Description

This coalition represents individuals and families affected by the employment-based green card backlog. Its work focuses on advocating for the Fairness for High-Skilled Immigrants Act, raising awareness of discriminatory per-country visa caps, and explaining how those limits affect people waiting for permanent residency. The coalition aims to equip community members with information and encourage them to move from awareness to engagement, action, and advocacy.

The website offers ways to contact elected representatives by phone, email, or physical letter, along with a downloadable advocacy kit and a form for Dreamers. It also provides informational resources on employment-based immigration topics, including the I-485 process, EB-2 and EB-3 interfiling, work and travel document renewals, Form I-485J, affidavits, and H-4 EAD renewals. These materials are presented as self-filing and do-it-yourself guidance. Through advocacy resources and practical information, the coalition seeks to help people understand the backlog and press for greater fairness in skills-based immigration.
