## Description

The Greater Clermont Cancer Foundation (GCCF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving people affected by cancer in South Lake County, Florida, including Clermont, Minneola, Howey-in-the-Hills, Montverde, Groveland, Mascotte, and nearby communities. Its mission is to ease the day-to-day strain of a cancer diagnosis by offering financial assistance, support, and comfort to patients and their families. GCCF also provides scholarships for cancer patients and their immediate family members pursuing higher education or vocational training, and works to strengthen local cancer support groups and connect families with available resources.

Community members can support its work through donations, fundraising, and events such as the Round Robin Tennis Tournament, Bras for the Cause and Boxers, Too!, and the Flower Power Dance Party. GCCF also invites supporters to contribute Legacy Warrior Baskets for raffle or silent auction fundraising.
