## Description

The GCS Project is dedicated to finding a cure for Gynecological Carcinosarcoma (GCS), also known as MMMT (Malignant Mixed Mullerian Tumor). GCS is an aggressive cancer primarily found in the ovaries and uterus, but can also originate in the fallopian tubes and vagina. It is a rare cancer, with fewer than 1,000 cases diagnosed each year. This rarity has led to limited research results and a lack of effective treatments or cures. The mission of the GCS Project is to provide scientifically valid information about GCS, support ongoing and new research, and create a community where those affected by this cancer can share their stories and find hope. The organization also offers resources for newly diagnosed individuals, including information about clinical trials and a community forum. Additionally, the GCS Project helps connect patients with expert medical advice through video consultations with Dr. Michael Birrer, an esteemed consultant specialized in GCS. By aggressively supporting research and providing valuable resources and support, the GCS Project aims to ensure that no more women lose their lives to this devastating cancer.
