## Description

GDA Collaboration, short for Game Design and Art Collaboration, is a community founded in January 2015 by a group of UC Santa Cruz students. Our mission is to foster collaboration among artists, musicians, programmers, and game designers, with a strong focus on networking and skill-sharing. At GDA Collaboration, we offer various programs to support our members. One of our main initiatives is the Mock Studio, which takes place every school year. During the Mock Studio, students pitch their game ideas and collectively develop them as a community. It provides a valuable opportunity to learn about the entire game-making process, from start to finish, and at the end of the year, you'll have a demo game to showcase. In addition to the Mock Studio, we also organize workshops and game jams separately to enhance game development skills. Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting out, these events offer valuable learning opportunities. Connect with us if you have any questions or want to get involved. We have a dedicated team of officers who oversee different aspects of our community. Join GDA Collaboration and be part of a vibrant and supportive network of game enthusiasts.
