## Description

The National Gambling Addiction Family Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families affected by gambling addiction, widely recognized as a serious disease. Currently, it represents families grappling with the impact of approximately 3.2 million individuals suffering from gambling addictions in Japan. The organization aims to raise awareness about the challenges these families face, providing educational initiatives and resources to help them navigate their circumstances.

Through its various family support groups located across different regions, such as Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka, the association facilitates essential learning and coping strategies for families in distress. Their activities include advocacy for better treatment options and collaboration with healthcare providers to enhance job opportunities for those recovering from addiction. They strive to disseminate accurate information about gambling addiction, thereby reducing stigma and fostering a supportive community. Ultimately, the National Gambling Addiction Family Association seeks to alleviate the suffering of both individuals with gambling problems and their families, while addressing the broader social issue of gambling addiction in Japan.
