## Description

Game Devs of Color (GDoC) is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to amplifying the creative voices of developers of color in the gaming industry. Founded in 2016, GDoC has successfully organized the Game Devs of Color Expo—an annual event that showcases innovative games by underrepresented creators. The organization not only provides a platform for these talented individuals to connect with the broader gaming community but also fosters an inclusive environment through networking opportunities and resources.

GDoC's mission is to ensure that creators of color are recognized and supported, offering scholarships and grants to emerging developers, including the notable Humble Bundle Game Creator of Color award. With significant partnerships alongside industry leaders like Xbox, Nintendo, and educational institutions, GDoC is making strides towards a more equitable gaming landscape. Join GDoC's mission to nurture diversity in gaming and support their ongoing efforts through donations, sponsorships, or participation in their community events. Together, they strive for an intersectional and empowered gaming industry.
