Group Development Pakistan (GDP) is a Civil Society Organization registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Their mission is to protect and promote child rights, while strengthening child protection and justice across Pakistan. GDP firmly believes in creating a democratic and humanistic society where children, as the most important stakeholders, are acknowledged, respected, and protected from all forms of violence and discrimination. To achieve this, GDP follows a holistic and human rights-based approach. They offer a range of services and initiatives that include capacitating police officials, training judges, lawyers, media personnel, teachers, and government officials. They also sensitize and train community members, children accessing education, and those accessing child-sensitive justice. Furthermore, GDP actively engages in countering child marriage, child labor, child trafficking, and other forms of child exploitation. Through their work, GDP aims to ensure that children in Pakistan have access to a safe and nurturing environment, where their rights are upheld, and they can thrive.
