## Description

Geisinger’s Department of Developmental Medicine, known as DevMed, brings together medical care, behavioral health, research and family support for children with autism and other special developmental needs. Its multidisciplinary team includes specialists in neurodevelopmental pediatrics, psychology, medical genetics, genomics, speech-language pathology and behavior analysis. Services include comprehensive evaluations, medication management, speech and language assessments, consultations, training and personalized recommendations that consider both medical and behavioral needs.

DevMed also offers specialty clinics for Dup15q and Angelman syndromes, Fragile X syndrome, and Smith-Magenis syndrome.
