## Description

Duikvereniging Gelre-Sub is an Arnhem-based diving club offering introductory dives, training and a welcoming community for divers in the region. Affiliated with the Dutch Underwater Sports Association (NOB), the club provides NOB/CMAS courses through its own instructors, including one-star Open Water, two-star Advanced Open Water and three-star Dive Master training, as well as diving specialities. Beginners can arrange a trial dive, while certified divers from other organisations, including SSI and PADI, are welcome to join.

Members can take part in regular recreational dives, with opportunities to find a buddy for Wednesday evening and Sunday morning outings. From October to April, the club holds Friday evening pool sessions in Arnhem to practise and maintain diving skills, followed by time together at the bar. Gelre-Sub also organises three Zeeland weekends each year, with dives in the Grevelingen and Oosterschelde. Other activities include outdoor-water diving, pool events and accident simulations. The club presents itself as a place to dive safely, develop skills and enjoy diving socially.
